Guerilla State are an emerging Irish rock group from Belfast, with a strong musical commentary on the social and political intricacies of the modern world.Guerilla State offers a global perspective on governmental affairs and failings in an age of misinformation; shedding a light of transparency, unrestricted and uninfluenced from the pressures of social conformity.

In the beginning...
Guerilla State is the brainchild of Rory Robinson and Michael Dalton and the second collaboration follow up to their first effort, Dalton Robinson. While both Belfast born, Michael moved to permanent residence in Australia and continued to evolve the act in the digital space.
On 15th January 2021 we released our first statement with the debut single ‘Never taking Me’, which was described as ‘flawless!’ by Official Flare magazine and ‘as sweeping and cinematic as it gets’ by Conn Thornton from Sezhoosays.
On 5th March 2021, we released our debut EP ‘Autonomy: Part One’ across all streaming platforms. Described as ‘sweeping choruses and shout-at-the-top-of-your-lungs choruses’ by Rockandrollfables,
the 6 track EP also featured the previously released ‘Never Taking Me’.
On June 11th we released ‘Handle with Care’, which was the first track off the next upcoming EP, complete with an accompanying video.
On July 23rd we released our second song ‘Disobey’ from the upcoming EP.
Autonomy: Part II, the second EP was released on 24th December.
'Night in the Wild', the third single from the EP, was released on the 29th October.
2022 began with a newly released cover of Irish classic 'The Auld Triangle', followed by a standalone single release of 'Just a Child'.
The end of 2022 marked a transformation, as the decision was made to move from an all digital outfit to a fully fledged live act.
Acquiring new members, than band has been in rehearsal since late 2022, with their debut gig booked for April 2023.
